About
I am a data scientist and business academic with executive-level expertise at the intersection of applied statistics, machine learning (ML/AI), product, marketing and growth strategies. My work focuses on scaling impact in high-growth environments by combining rigorous statistical methodology with practical business application. I enjoy building tools and frameworks that drive measurable outcomes across customer acquisition, retention, and monetization.
Right now, I spend most of my time with Indeed, where I work on advertising measurement and other data science projects. I also work with startups through Builders VC and have other independent projects.
I previously served on the business faculty at UNC-Chapel Hill's Business School and IE Business School in Madrid. I also consult broadly on marketing effectiveness and on data science/machine learning related problems. In addition, I have worked at the National Bureau of Economic Research, Airbnb, and at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette.
My academic research has been published in the Harvard Business Review, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of International Business Studies, and Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied.
I received a PhD in marketing from Columbia Business School, an MA in statistics from Columbiaโs Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and an SB in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
